Maersk Line Graduate Programme (MLGP)

**Programme Overview

Maersk Line is one of the leading container shipping companies in the world renowned for its professional and customer centric approach. If you wish to become a part of the liner industry, and join the leading name in this field, then the Maersk Line Graduate Program (MLGP), a highly challenging two-year international training program, will offer you the perfect opportunity.

**Programme Objective:

The main objective of this two-year programme is to recruit University Graduates and develop them into high-performing front line managers (managerial role).

Through the program, each candidate is expected to develop

--A full understanding of the end-to-end processes in Maersk Line

--Commercial awareness

--First hand management/leadership experience

--A global network with senior management at local organization in East China and headquarter in Denmark (Copenhagen), and with hundreds of peer trainees from 20 countries around the world.

**Requirement for Eligible Applicants:

Since Maersk talent management programme is an extensive and highly competitive programme, we are looking for candidates with

1. a strong educational background with some work experience:

--Masters degree (preferred) with 1~2 years work experience (incl. part time, internship experience).

--Or Bachelors degree with 3~4 years work experience;

--The Degree should be Business, Marketing, Management, Commerce, Engineering or something related.

--International travel, International work experience and Significant achievements will add advantage

--shipping industry knowledge not mandatory

6. Strong interpersonal communication skills

7. Strong logical thinking

8. Mobility regarding choice of work location

**Special Notice:

* Work location: Shanghai, Xiamen, Nanjing, Ningbo are all posible for job rotation during the training period or after graduation from the programme, depending on company’s business need

* Target Position: to be decided upon enrollment. Depening on business need and development need, the candidate will have job rotation in different business functions such as customer service, sales, operation, trade and marketing.
