Software QA Engineer（Location: 北京）
Responsibilities:
1.Work with developers on the initial design of assigned features
2.Write test plans for assigned features from functional specs
3.Work closely with design engineers in the early stages of product development to execute tests
4.Automate tests where possible
5.Perform functional and system level (manual and automation) on VMware’s products
6.File bug reports
Requirements:
1. MS or PhD degree in Computer Science or related field is preferred;
2. Core technical knowledge should include:
3. Solid understanding of operating system fundamentals (scheduling, memory management, queuing theory, etc)
4. Administration knowledge of UNIX/Linux or Windows OSes
5. In-depth understanding of PC peripherals (storage, USB, etc)
6. Understanding of networking fundamentals
7. Experience in testing/developing virtualization software is a plus
8. Experience in testing/developing server/storage management software is a plus
9. Working knowledge and hand on coding experience in one or more of the following programming languages: Perl, Shell script, Python, Java, C/C++
10. Strong trouble shooting and debugging skills to find the root cause
11. Excellent communication skills required
Software Development Engineer（Location: 北京）
Requirements:
1. MS or PhD in Computer Science or equivalent;
2. Must be fluent in English (written and oral);
3. Self starter with strong passion in technology and innovation;
4. Strong analytical, diagnostic and problem-solving skills with ability to work independently and deliver products in a timely manner;
5. Must be excellent Java, C++ or C programmers and good at computer algorithms;
6. Experience in large scale J2EE and XML application design and development is a plus;
7. Familiar with one or more of the following: Flex, Perl, PHP, Ruby, Python, Javascript;
8. Good knowledge of CPU internals, CPU schedulers, memory management. knowledge in computer networking, storages and system management is a plus;
9. Knowledge of modern UNIX kernels (i.e., Linux, BSD, Solaris, AIX, or HP/UX), or mobile platforms such as Android, Symbian OS, WinCE etc. Experience in kernel and C development, debugging, problem and performance analysis is a plus.
